        David E. Geist, MD, FAAD is an associate of the American College of Mohs Surgery and a fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology. He is a Mohs micrographic surgeon and assistant professor of medicine in the Division of Dermatology at the University of Massachusetts Medical School. Dr. Geist also serves as the Clinical Chief for Dermatology at UMass Memorial Medical Center. After attending Yale Medical School where he graduated AOA, Dr. Geist completed a medical internship at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in Boston and a residency in dermatology jointly at Boston University and Tufts-New England Medical Center in Boston where he served as academic chief resident. Dr. Geist then completed a fellowship in Mohs micrographic surgery and cutaneous oncology at UMass Medical School. Dr. Geist’s professional interests include high risk cutaneous oncology, immunosuppressed dermatology, Mohs reconstruction, melanoma management, and leadership development. Dr. Geist is committed to evidence-based, effective skin cancer management and reconstruction with individualized treatment plans for each patient.
