Yael Dvir, M.D. is a Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist directing the Psychosis & Mood Disorders Clinics at the Center for Autism and Neurodevelopmental Disorders (CANDO). In addition to being the Director for the Medical Student Clerkship, she conducts research through the UMMS Child and Adolescent NeuroDevelopment Initiative (CANDI).
Research Interests/projects: the association between childhood trauma and mood disorders, childhood psychosis, the associations between childhood psychosis and Autistic Spectrum Disorders, and medical education.
