Dr. Oleson has an active geriatric medicine practice, primarily at the Geriatric Medicine Clinic at the University of Massachusetts Memorial Hospital. Her clinical interests are memory impairment and falls.
Dr. Oleson is board certified in family medicine. She completed her medical school at Ohio University College of Osteopathic Medicine and her residency in family medicine at Firelands Regional Medical Center, where she served as chief resident. Dr. Oleson then completed a two-year fellowship in geriatric medicine at Boston University Medical Center. In addition, Dr. Oleson has completed a Masters in Science of Health Services Research through Boston University School of Public Health.
