Biography
Dr. Anna Doubeni has had a variety of experience in the areas of international and community health. During medical school and residency she had rotations in Latin America and Taiwan. Following her training, she worked in a rural community health center in North Carolina. She came to UMass Medical Center to pursue further training in Preventive Medicine.
She continues to work primarily as clinical faculty, seeing a very diverse population of patients and precepting students both in and out of the office. She is working toward the completion of her MPH and Preventive Medicine Residency.
Her professional interests continue to include international/immigrant health, community health, access to health care for homebound patients, and obesity management.

Currently involved as the PI in survey research with the Massachusetts Medical Society on Primary Care Physicians' diagnosis and management of obesity.
