Alexandra Wink, PhD (she/her) joined the UMass Chan Faculty in 2018 after completing her PhD in Anatomy and Neurobiology at Boston University. She was previously employed as a Forensic Anthropology Fellow at the Joint POW-MIA Accounting Command in Hawaii.

Dr. Wink is a member of the core Anatomy teaching faculty at the T. H. Chan School of Medicine, where she lectures in anatomy and instructs in the dissection laboratory. As of 2022, she is the director of the Summer Prosection Program in Anatomy for rising second-year students. In the Vista Curriculum, Dr. Wink leads the Education Pathway Leader in the Pathways, Inquiry, and Concentrations (PIC) Program. 

Outside of her educational roles, Dr. Wink is a member of the UMass Chan Women's Faculty Committee and has served as the basic science co-chair of the committee since 2022. She is also a member of the Disabilities Special Interest Group of the Committee on Equal Opportunity and Diversity and serves on a Disability Curriculum Workgroup for the School of Medicine.

Dr. Wink is involved in several professional organizations such as the American Association for Anatomy (AAA) where she currently serves as a member of the Committee for Early Career Anatomists, and the American Association for Clinical Anatomists (AACA) where she is a member of the Clinical Anatomical Terminology Committee.

Dr. Wink's research interest is in medical education, currently how learners use online study resources in anatomy and what factors learners value when choosing an anatomical reference image.
