Summary

Our lab is focused on investigating cellular and molecular mechanisms of immune response and neuropathogenesis during viral infection, as ZIKV and SARS-CoV-2. Also, we test the potential of endometrial derived Mesenchymal Stem Cells (eMSCs) and their extracellular vesicles as a therapeutic tool to mitigate neuroinflammation.
