overview Mike Fahey, M.D. is a general pediatric cardiologist at UMassMemorial Medical Center. His clinical interests include the diagnosis and medical management of acquired and congenital heart disease in children, including prenatal diagnosis with the use of fetal echocardiography. He accepted a position as Division Chief of Pediatric Cardiology at UMass in 2013. His other primary interest is in education. He has received multiple teaching awards from the pediatric residents at UMassMemorial Medical Center, and is the recipient of an Educational Achievement Award from UMass Medical School in 2012 for his work in developing and co-directing the Integrated Case Exercises (ICE) course. ICE is a case-based course that runs through the first two years of UMass Medical School curriculum.
