Dr. Eric Mick is a psychiatric and genetic epidemiologist. Dr. Mick's research is focused on identifying genetic susceptibility to disruptive behavior and mood disorders in children, adolescents and adults. In collaboration with colleagues in the ADHD Molecular Genetics Network and the Psychiatric GWAS consortium, Dr. Mick has conducted genome-wide association studies of ADHD, pediatric bipolar disorder, cognition, and emotional self-regulation. His current research is focused on understanding the impact of these behavioral phenotypes - and their associated susceptibility genes - on the incidence of cardiovascular disease.
