Research Interests: Dr. Fleming's research addresses the application of psychological principles and interventions to problems of social importance. Specializing in behavioral psychology applied to intellectual disabilities and autism spectrum disorders, he is involved in research that addresses prevention and treatment of child and adolescent obesity and other health-related challenges, promotion of physical activity and exercise, and education and training of parents and personnel. Professional Interests: Parallel to his research interests, Dr. Fleming develops programs to bring about behavior change in families of children with intellectual and developmental disabilities. His efforts include developing online education and training programs, teaching courses, and giving workshops and presentations on the following topics: - Behavioral intervention in autism
