Professional Experience

2001-2005: PhD, Transplant immunology, University of Berlin-Germany
2005-2008: Post-doc research fellowship, Harvard University
2008-2010: Hepatobiliary and Transplantation Surgery Fellowship,  New York Medical College
2010-2012: Transplantation Surgery Fellowship, Mass General Hospital, Harvard University
1/2012-3/2013: Instructor in Surgery, Massachusetts General Hospital, Harvard University
3/2013-current: Assistant Professor/Transplant Surgeon, University of Massachusetts

My research interest is on transplant immunobiology, especially on  Ischemia Reperfusion Injury, and Immunosenescence. Clinically, my research interest is on Transplant Outcome Research, more especifically on the use of  Extended Criteria Donors .

Currently, I am looking for a qualified post-doc to work on a project on liver machine preservation using rodent models. Experience with immunological assays and microsurgery is expected.
