She has served as a PI or Co-Investigator on private and federally-funded projects that have included epidemiological studies on the prevalence of elevated weight in disabled populations, weight loss and physical activity interventions for adolescents with ID and autism, and observational studies on physical activity, dietary patterns, and/or elevated weight status in children with a variety developmental disabilities.
