In our Diagnostic Molecular Oncology laboratory, using an automated imaging system we have implemented an integrated cytopathology and fluorescence in situ hybridization approach in the diagnosis of urothelial carcinomas. This system also allows us to explore potential markers that might be helpful in diagnosis and prognosis of urothelial and other organ system neoplasms.
