Investigator on project comparing Permacol, Collamend, and AlloDerm for abdominal wall reconstruction in a rat model. Study designed to evaluate biochemical parameters of extracellular matrix deposition on the dermal matrices, the degree of mesothelial cell adhesion/migration across the peritoneal surfaces, blood chemistry for markers of wound healing and inflammation and in vivo “stretch” with serial MRI follow up of rats.
