Dr Chrysanthopoulou received her PhD in Biostatistics from Brown University, where she also began her academic career working as a research faculty. In January 2015 she joined the Department of Quantitative Health Sciences as an Instructor of Biostatistics. Her interests are focused on statistical methodologies and applications of micro-simulation modeling in health policy, including complex calibration and predictive accuracy assessment methods, as well as high performance computing techniques. Dr Chysanthopoulou has in-depth knowledge in statistics with emphasis in Biostatistics. She has extensive experience in statistical consulting with numerous contributions to scientific papers, some of which published in prominent medical journals. She has also taught advanced statistical courses in graduate degree programs at Brown University, and the UMASS Medical School. Dr Chrysanthopoulou has designed the syllabus and developed the course material as the coordinator of two courses in Biostatistics, while she has also served in PhD dissertation committees of the Doctoral Program in Clinical and Population Health Research at the UMass Medical School.

PMC Citations indicate the number of times the publication was cited by articles in PubMed Central, and the Altmetric score represents citations in news articles and social media. (Note that publications are often cited in additional ways that are not shown here.) Fields are based on how the National Library of Medicine (NLM) classifies the publication's journal and might not represent the specific topic of the publication. Translation tags are based on the publication type and the MeSH terms NLM assigns to the publication. Some publications (especially newer ones and publications not in PubMed) might not yet be assigned Field or Translation tags.) Click a Field or Translation tag to filter the publications.
