    Biosketch:


    Dr. Terrien has had several years of RN experience in areas of nursing that include women’s health, gynecologic malignancies, clinical trials coordination and the care of trauma patients.  Her background as a Nurse Practitioner includes Employee Health, Internal Medicine and Primary Care both in a private practice and hospital system.


     


    Her dissertation work was titled “Communication with Healthcare Providers at the End-of-Life.  This work is continued through the education of the students at the GSN, collaborative projects with GSN faculty and other healthcare providers available at UMMS through interprofessional collaborations.
