Biosketch
Maria Cote received her Master of Science in Nursing from the University of Massachusetts Graduate School of Nursing, Worcester in 1999 as an acute care nurse practitioner. Prior to this, she received her BSN from Worcester State College and a diploma in nursing from Framingham Union Hospital School of Nursing. She is a part time clinical instructor at the University of Massachusetts Graduate School of Nursing, Worcester in the acute care graduate program. She works full time in the emergency department at UMass Medical Center. Prior to this she worked in vascular surgery and was the clinical coordinator for the Vascular Health Center coordinating the smoking cessation, lipid management and vascular exercise programs.
