    Summary of Research Experience:

    My research area in statistics is the sample integrity for high-dimension low-sample size data. For past 11+ years of my research career, I have involved with collaborations in the fields of public health, medicine and agricultural sciences. It naturally exposed me to a transdisciplinary research environment and shaped my career as a well-rounded statistician. Previously, at WUSTL, my work with other scientists includes epidemiological and clinical studies in cancer and chronic diseases, typically investigating the survival or risk factors, such as physical activity, healthy diet, drug use, and other behavioral or environmental effects. My former institute, U of Arkansas, a leading state of US agriculture industry, provided me a unique opportunity to work with various interdisciplinary projects in agriculture, e.g., animal/plant disease, horticulture, entomology, food science, crop, soil & water sciences, and many other natural resources related research. Data from agriculture tend to be collected by field or lab experiments. During this time, I was able to focus on various experimental designs and bioinformatics.

    My research agenda for the upcoming years is related to microbiome data, network data, and time-to-event data but not limited to. Welcome to joining my work or inviting me to your project!
