Biosketch
Dr. Karen Dick comes to the Graduate School of Nursing via UMASS Boston where she served as Graduate Program Director overseeing the MS and DNP programs. She is currently an Associate Professor teaching in the DNP program at the GSN. Dr. Dick was inducted as a Fellow in the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners in 2003, and is also the 2013 recipient of the State Award for Excellence from the AANP. She has had a long career caring for older adults as a Gerontological Nurse Practitioner and maintains a clinical practice through Hebrew Senior Life, Boston, MA.
