The major goal of this RCT is to test the effectiveness of an innovative FITLINE pediatric practice-based referral program providing practices a telephone counseling program delivered by centralized nutritionists to coach parents in improving their 8-12 year old overweight or obese child’s diet and physical activity to reduce BMI.
